About

Hi, I'm Hüseyin Hirschler. I help Chinese students navigate the German university system — and I do it as someone who has lived in both worlds.

I grew up in Germany and studied China Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. I also spent a year in China, which gave me direct experience of the language, the culture, and how Chinese students and families think about education. That means I understand the German academic system from the inside, and I understand what you're actually looking for: clear answers, honest advice, and someone who treats your application as carefully as you would.

I work with applicants one-on-one. No call centers, no partner-university quotas, no pushing you toward programs that pay me commission. Just straightforward guidance from someone who has been on both sides.

What I do

A complete service for Bachelor's and Master's applicants — from your first questions to your university acceptance.

Transcript Analysis

I review your academic record and assess how it translates into the German system. You'll get a clear picture of where you stand and what's realistic — before you spend time on the wrong applications.

University Shortlist

Based on your goals, grades, and field, I build a personalized list of target universities and reliable backups. No generic rankings — a list that actually fits you.

APS Support

The APS is a required step for most Chinese applicants. I help you prepare your documents and plan the process so everything is in order before you submit.

Application Support

Uni-Assist, motivation letters, CV in German format, deadlines, document translation — I guide you through every part of the application process so nothing falls through the cracks.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with Bachelor's and Master's applicants?

Yes. I support both Bachelor's and Master's applicants. The process differs in important ways, and I tailor my guidance to your situation.

Which fields and universities do you cover?

I work across most fields offered at German public universities and Universities of Applied Sciences (Hochschulen / Fachhochschulen) — engineering, business, humanities, natural sciences, and more. I focus on public institutions (TU9, U15, strong Fachhochschulen, and other reputable public universities) rather than private for-profit programs.

Do I need top grades to study in Germany?

Not necessarily. Strong grades open more doors, but solid options exist for a wide range of academic profiles. The key is being open to backup choices that may not appear high in international rankings but offer excellent education and recognized German degrees. After looking at your transcripts, I'll give you an honest assessment of what's realistic and where the strong opportunities are for your profile.

Do I need to speak German to study in Germany?

Not always. Many Master's programs are taught entirely in English, especially in STEM and business. For Bachelor's programs, German is usually required. I'll help you understand which path fits your level and goals.

How long does the process take?

Plan for 6 to 12 months from our first conversation to your application submission, plus the APS process which has its own timeline. The earlier we start, the more options you have.

How do we communicate?

WeChat is easiest for most clients, and I'm comfortable working in English, Mandarin, or German. Email works too.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the scope of support you need — Bachelor and Master applications differ, and so do individual situations. I'll give you a clear, honest quote after our first conversation, with no surprises.
